What's the cost of hiring a wedding DJ ?
Pricing for DJ Entertainment varies, At UEG, our DJ entertainment pricing typically starts:
Just the Essentials Packages: Around $1,800–$2,300 for a professional DJ/ event Host which may cover ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music.
Mid-level Packages: Which include your DJ/Event host which will cover everything in the essentials package and may include up to two enhancements $2,600–$3,200+
Premium/top-tier Packages: Highly sought-after DJs/ Event Host who include premium lighting setups, enhancements, & production elements services often run $3,400–$5,000+ or higher.
What's your booking policy?
Great question!
To lock in your date, we require a signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer. Because wedding dates in Los Angeles book quickly, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis — meaning your date isn’t secured until both are received.
Your remaining balance is due before the event which will be noted on your contract, and we’ll schedule consultations & final planning session to go over timeline, music selections, and production details so everything is seamless on your big day.
Can I speak with the DJ before booking?
Yes absolutely! We encourage it..
We schedule a personalized consultation so you can speak directly with your DJ, review your timeline, music preferences, and overall vibe.
We want you to feel confident and comfortable before securing your date.
How far in advance should we book?
Most of our couples reserve their date 10–14 months ahead, particularly for prime Saturday weddings.
Because we accept a limited number of events per weekend to maintain quality, dates are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry full liability insurance, and certificates of insurance (COI) can be provided to your venue upon request.
We understand many Los Angeles venues require proof of insurance, and we’re fully prepared to meet those requirements.
What areas & cites do you serve?
We provide wedding and event services throughout Southern California, primarily serving Los Angeles, Ventura & Orange County and surrounding cities such as:
Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Long Beach, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Malibu, and Long Beach.
Destination events and extended travel can be accommodated — just ask.
What happens if my DJ has an emergency?
In the unlikely event of an emergency, we have a contingency plan in place.
We maintain a group of DJs in our Roster and network of professional, experienced DJs who are familiar with our standards and procedures. If something unforeseen occurs, a qualified backup DJ will be requested to step in.
Your event is protected, and we put it in writing in our contracts.
Can we create & send a playlist?
Yes — and we highly recommend it.
You’re welcome to provide must-plays, genres you love, and songs to avoid. We use your input as a foundation, then curate and mix the rest live to keep the dance floor packed.
It’s your soundtrack — we just elevate it.
